Amanda Lee

Amanda has over five years of experience tutoring students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade, specializing in mathematical and scientific subjects. Offering nationwide tutoring services, Amanda has extensive experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. She values and cherishes each of her students.

Currently a senior at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, Amanda is majoring in Human Biology on a pre-dental track. Outside of tutoring, Amanda is involved in Alzheimer’s disease research at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and works at a dental pulp stem cell banking company. She plans to attend dental school after college graduation, with aspirations of becoming a dentist and contributing to dental academia.

Alexa Lee

Alexa has been tutoring for the past three years, specializing in mathematics, science, and SHSAT test preparation for K–12 graders. She adapts her teaching style to suit the needs and capabilities of her students. Alexa’s experience in tutoring has fostered a passion for education, igniting her desire to pursue a career as a teacher.

As a sophomore enrolled at Macaulay Honors College within Hunter College, Alexa is pursuing a double major in Adolescent Education and Biology. She is actively looking to partake in neurodegenerative disease research. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to biological academia in a college or high school setting.

Beyond her tutoring and academic endeavors, Alexa loves drawing and painting whatever inspires her! She loves a good movie, playing with her dogs at home, and going on adventurous hikes.

Elena Yeromycheva

Meet Elena, your dedicated tutor fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. With over four years of experience, Elena has been imparting knowledge to students from various corners of the globe. Specializing in individualized tutoring, Elena has guided elementary and middle school students toward mastering reading comprehension and writing. She creates a welcoming atmosphere where questions are encouraged.

In addition to her tutoring experience, Elena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philology from Kherson State University in Ukraine, where she graduated with honors. Currently, Elena is furthering her education at Hunter College, majoring in Russian Language and Education, with hopes of becoming an elementary school educator. As she continues her studies, Elena remains committed to providing empowering her students to achieve their full potential.

John Lee

John possesses over two years of tutoring experience with a proficiency in teaching math and science from fourth to twelfth grade. As a recipient of the prestigious Macaulay Honors Scholarship, John is a freshman at College of Staten Island. He is planning to study Biological Sciences and hopes to attend medical school after graduation.

Outside of tutoring, John is a wrestling coach and enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and spending time with his friends and family. In his undergraduate journey, he is planning to conduct neurodegenerative research with a specific focus in Traumatic Brain Injury.

Through tutoring, academics, and his extracurricular pursuits, John is dedicated to make meaningful contributions to society both inside and outside the classroom.
